Resolved Question: Is there a trend of women dating younger guys, and then the younger guy leaves for a younger woman?

There are examples of this in Hollywood - Tom Cruise was married to Mimi Rogers who was older than him. Then, he was with a woman around his age in Nicole Kidman. And now, he's with a much younger Katie Holmes. Another example is Ryan Reynolds and Alanis Morrisette. They were together for a while, then Ryan left and he's now with the younger Scarlett Johansson. Do you see a trend? It's like these guys learn from these elder women, and then they leave for a younger woman and impart their knowledge to make that new relationship work.
